Torniamo a studiare i classici!

A “new” government for Italy

A “new” government for Italy

Few days are past since Silvio Berlusconi decided to resign as leader of our country and has declared that is starting to prepare the next election campaign, first of all using the power of the net. After the magic world of the tv show into the political field we will see the “political field” (all the politicians made by Berlusconi from his tv) going back to tv and the net, so we can expect a revival of the same faces in few months, unfortunately. Talking about the new ministers of the new Government it’s quite embarassing to say that is a new kind of leadership. They are called tecnical people, but if we analize each one by one we can discover that many of them are involved in the ancient way to make politics, because they are involved in more than one conflict of interest, i.e. the new Minister of Economic Development, Corrado Passera, has been involved in the interest of many banks, national italian Mail and Alitalia, our national flight company. The new Minister of Justice, the lawyer Paola Severino, has been the defensor of Cesare Previti, Secretary of State for Defence of the first government of Silvio Berlusconi, accused and condemned for corruption in favour of Berlusconi himself in the so called process of Lodo Mondadori. The Minister of the Environment, Corrado Clini, after his nomination has declared to be in favour of nuclear energy (Italy has decided to be contrary to nuclear power with a referendum, just few months ago). All these consideration to not mention the figure of Mario Monti himself (a man that comes from Goldman Sachs). The average age of our “new” ministers is of 63 years, in Denmark is 43!  However we will see if they’ll do a good job for the future of our country or not. At the moment the sensation is that everything changes for nothing change anything, as in a sort of recurring periods of history, referring to Giambattista Vico.
Let’s support occupy wall street

Let’s support occupy wall street

Occupy wall street seems to be still the last hope for a change. In America this movement has a strong base, it seems to be stronger than here in Europe, more than in Italy for sure.I think that if a movement can be the start for changing this must be supported and follow by all the others. We have seen how the things are going on in Europe: no more strong initiatives against the opposition of the governament, no more ideas for going on, no ways to fight against the strong powers of Economy. We must remember the past. In 1968 the first movements were born in Usa, after that the protest started worldwide and changed the society. I hope that this could happen again, because I think is the only way to change this dangerous and apparently irreversible situation. So let support occupy wall street.
United States of… Europe

United States of… Europe

The last events in the economic international landscape have pointed out that is urgent a common policy of the states of the EU, most of all about financial matters and of foreign policy. It isn’t a pure case if in these last month there have been many attacks to the EU economy. A strong Europe would be a very hard opponent to the policies of China and Usa. I think that there isn’t time to delay this, no more. And I think that there isn’t a different way to escape from a such difficult situation for the main nations of Europe. The UK has done a different play, ever in partnership with the USA, and could be necessary to leave it alone, cause on the contrary it could be too late. An example of the problem of foreign policy could be the last war in Libia and the different positions that there are about the problem of the relationship between Israel and Palestina. On the other side, the continuous attacks against the european currency show the weakness  that is the target of the international economic power. It is useful for many of those to have an Europe not united that, on the contrary, could scare them. So it’s time for United States of Europe!
